About Soundquake

A small team dedicated to reshaping the world with the power of your podcasts.

We are your target audience  & we make the podcasts we wish you already had.

Meet the founders

Hello! We are Sam Hamilton-Turner & Sam Jump, the creators of Soundquake.

Some pretty big names like Apple, Intel & the BBC have known us for the last 10 years, as the safe pair of hands to trust with the audio for their visual content.

And while we continue to be exactly that, we have gone through something of an evolution in recent years…

We knew we could serve a much bigger purpose…

We wanted to harness our combined skillset in audio and storytelling to create a positive impact and improve the world we live in.

But how could two coffee-fuelled, yoga-doing, dog-loving 30 year olds make any meaningful difference?

We got our bearded heads together and realised we had been listening to the answer for hours on end on our commutes…

Podcasts!

We think about podcasts a little differently. For some time now, the low barriers to entry mean anyone can record themselves talking, put it out to the world and call themselves a podcaster. And that is no bad thing.

But it does lead to a vast graveyard of podcasts that never made it past the first 5 episodes. Many of them began as vanity projects or with selfish goals in mind. They quickly run out of steam and before long, they add to pile of inactive shows.

We think it’s time to do something different with podcasting.

We think the platform presents a unique opportunity for incredible people to gather momentum & support for their ideas and give a great gift to their communities.

Change happens all the time.

We no longer smoke in pubs and we take our own carrier bags to the supermarket. These kind of ideas face resistance from an invested status quo and take time to spread as a ‘new normal’. But the best ideas do spread. And now, we have the technology to help them spread further and deeper than ever before.

Crafting podcasts with that mindset and approach is what get’s us fired up. It’s what we have chosen to do with our limited time on this earth. It’s the difference we have chosen to make.

What difference have you chosen to make? Let us know

Are you ready to tell more people about your ideas?

The first step is to share it with us.
